Application for membership fee waiver due to damage from the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake

We would like to express our deepest sympathy to the members who have been affected by the Noto Peninsula Earthquake.

The Society will waive the 2025 membership fee for those members who have already paid the 2024 membership fee and who are unable to pay the membership fee in the future due to the damage caused by the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake.

Please submit the application form to the JPS Secretariat by e-mail or mail, along with documents (such as a disaster victim certification from a public institution) proving that your residence (or your parents' residence for undergraduate and graduate students) was damaged by this disaster.
Please note that applications must arrive no later than Monday, September 30, 2024.
If you are unable to meet the application deadline due to a delay in the issuance of your certificate or other reasons, please contact the JPS Secretariat by Monday, September 30, 2024.
If you know of any members in your area who are affected by the earthquake, please let them know about the membership fee waiver.
